3. Study Table 14.9, page 532. Explain which terminal configuration you believe would work best for the Airbus A380 aircraft.
4. Chapter 15 discusses peak-load stating definitions of peak-load often represent a compromise between efficiency and quality of service. What are some things a planner can do to handle peak-load operations?
5. Your author stresses Level of Service (LOS) being extremely important regarding passenger buildings. Define Level of Service and then discuss how much emphasis a planner should allocate to LOS when designing a passenger building.
6. Planners can estimate aircraft delays due to passenger building configurations. Why then would a planner design a terminal that causes delays? What could the planner do to avoid this from happening?
