What are the advantages of considering personal bias

Assignment

The businessman George Merck once said "We try never to forget that medicine is for the people. It is not for the profits. The profits follow, and if we have remembered that, they have never failed to appear. The better we have remembered it, the larger they have been." I think this offers a new way to think about grades.

Instead of focusing directly on the grade and worrying about what you need to do to achieve the grade you want, focus on the learning. Take the time to get interested in the subject of whatever class you are taking, learn about the material, make connections with other things you are studying and are interested in, make an effort to explain this new material to others and apply it in your everyday life.

Doing all of this will make the experience in the class more meaningful and educational. And, when it comes time to take the test, you'll be prepared. Not because you spent time cramming or memorizing but because you spent time learning.

To paraphrased Merck's comments: Try never to forget that education is for learning. It is not for the grade. The grades follow the learning.
What do you think?

Your explanations should have reasons that support them and you should make use of the concepts in the textbook.

2) Which factors do you think have a stronger impact on opinion: personal experiences, educational experiences, cultural exposure, etc.

3. During a period of inflation (increasing costs of goods), which inventory cost flow method would provide the highest ending inventory balance? How would this affect the net income of the company? Explain why it would, or would not, be ethical to select the cost flow method that reports the highest net income?
