Problem
We examined the history and role of labor unions as a collective response to work. In the 21st century, unions are developing transnational/global strategies. Based on what you have learned, is it beneficial for labor movements to become global? What are the advantages and disadvantages of a global labor movement? How beneficial are these projects? Will they help workers worldwide in low-wage service sectors?
