One of the topics for this week is research strategies and how psychologists ask and answer questions.
Pretend for a moment that you are a psychologist and respond to the following questions:
What would you be interested in studying and why? (In other words, if you were to conduct research, what topic you would examine; be as specific as possible i.e. "Does gender affect GPA?"). Describe what you would want to know and why!
Describe how you would examine your topic or question (What type of research method would you use and how would you set it up)
What are the advantages and disadvantages of your type of research method?
Are there any ethical concerns in your research? If so, how will you address them?
