The Affordable Care Act (ACA) has been the subject of much debate since prior to its conception. As a healthcare leader, the ACA will impact your organization in many ways.
Task:
Choose a healthcare organization. This can be your current organization, one you would like to lead, or a fictitious organization. You will assume the role of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and be largely responsible for aspects concerning fair and equitable delivery of care.
Be sure to discuss the following:
1) What are some specific policies that will need to be developed to ensure fair and equitable patient care?
2) How will the change in volume of Medicaid patients (if your state expanded the program or not) be addressed?
3) Discuss at least three positive and negative impacts of the ACA that must be considered.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
