i. Both Hinduism and Buddhism delineate specific paths to liberation. Define and discuss these paths and define the goal (liberation) they lead to in both religions. Use terms as precisely as possible to show that you have read the assignment
ii. Compare/contrast the major themes and terms of Confucianism and Taoism. Use and define some of the key terms from the Chinese. Are these religions complementary or opposites? Explain.
iii. Compare and contrast the Christian and Muslim views of Jesus Christ. Use specific examples / short quotes from texts and tradition to support your conclusions. In what ways do Muslims acknowledge Jesus Christ? What are some surprising details about events in Jesus's life as believed by Muslims? What is the importance of the Christian "Trinity" in distinguishing these two religions?
