When developing a grant proposal, it is important to develop sound goals and objectives. To test if program objectives are effective, one can utilize a method called the SMARTIE system.
The SMARTIE system includes specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound, inclusive, and equitable objectives. In your review of the SMARTIE goals, in what ways do you believe these can add value to a grant program? What are some specific ways it can add value to the after-school tutorial program created by the Resource Center?
