It is important for physicians, providers, and health care facilities to have real-time connectivity. Therefore, health records should tie more professionals together and adopt new models of care.
Respond to the following:
1. How do electronic medical record (EMR) systems and electronic health record (EHR) systems foster connections between primary care physicians, multiple specialists, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, and public health registries?
2. What are some of the most prevalent challenges and risks of implementing an EHR system?
