Discussion Post: Economics
• What are some of the effects (good and/or bad) of the increasing income inequality in a developed country like the US?
• Describe the income inequality, poverty rate, and economic mobility in a country of your choice (try not to repeat countries already posted!). Data would be helpful, but I am looking more broadly for an understanding of how these things affect citizens, rather than the simple statistics.
• Describe at least one policy designed to reduce poverty, and its costs and benefits to the greater society.
The response must include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
