What are expected genotype frequencies for the population

Assignment Problem: Derive an equation that predicts the expected genotypes for a single locus under the assumptions of Hardy Weinberg Equilibrium if there are 3 alleles present in the population.

A species is sampled in two populations, one in the Range 1 and the other in Range 2.  Allele frequencies at ONE locus are as follows:

Range 1: p = 0.5, q = 0.4, t = 0.1

Range 2: p = 0.4, q = 0.3, t = 0.3

1. What are the expected genotype frequencies for the population as a whole? Assume 10 samples are taken from each range.

2. What additional information would you need to test if the population as a whole is in Hardy Weinberg Equilibrium?

3. What are the expected genotype frequencies in the two populations independently?
