Particularly given the recent challenges of the pandemic, there has been much discussion about what extremely successful firms and entrepreneurs have been doing in various ways to "help out" or "give back" from their success during these times of extreme need for many people.
a) What are examples of what the "FAAMG" (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and Google) firms or tech giants anywhere in the world-or indeed successfully innovative firms in any domain around the world-have done in this regard?
b) Do you think the "helping out" or "giving back" actions of these firms in the pandemic have been having the intended consequences?
