• Define therapeutic communication in the setting of nurse practitioner-patient relationships. What are the benefits to the patient when the nurse practitioner employs the use of therapeutic communication with the patients. Support your answer with evidence-based research.
• Examine Healthy People 2020 health promotion and disease prevention objectives. Identify a health disparity and research this topic, how is it being addressed at both the local and national level.
