What approaches or methodologies have been used

Problem

A literature review should have:

A. An introduction, briefly explaining the topic of your research, the people or community it affects (relevance) and the general nature of the literature that will be covered in your review.

B. Evaluation of the articles, showing how you will synthesize the preexisting research into your own article, and a critical analysis on what you have learned from your research thus far. Be sure to provide concrete examples from your sources. A few helpful guiding questions that you can keep in mind as you are writing the review:

a. What approaches or methodologies have been used?
b. What weakness, biases, or gaps exist in the research?
c. Who has written on the topic?
d. What, if any, schools of thought (research trends) have developed?

C. A conclusion, where you summarize what you have found in the research regarding your topic, and what areas you have found that need further study. Briefly explain how your research relates to the preexisting research you have found.
