What alternative type of primary source evidence you examine

Problem

Now that you have had the opportunity to complete the assigned readings for this module, relating to the Salem Witchcraft Trials, think about the four possible explanations that historians have offered, as to why the trials took place. Based on the evidence of the trial depositions, which of the four explanations seems to be the most likely? Which seems to be the least likely? Does the nature of this primary source evidence (depositions presented at the trials of those accused of witchcraft) tend to reinforce one or more of the four possible explanations? What alternative types of primary source evidence would you like to examine, to determine if any of the "less likely" explanations might still be valid?

The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
