Problem
Ali is a manager at a high-tech manufacturer. For the third week in a row, another manager, Bob, has openly ridiculed Ali's ideas during the weekly manager's meeting. Since Ali is relatively new to his role, he thought the first couple incidents were perhaps a mistake, or that he misinterpreted what Bob was saying. Now that this has happened three weeks in a row, Ali feels he must confront Bob about the issue. Unfortunately, Ali is very uncomfortable with conflict. He doesn't know how to approach Bob in a way that will avoid a big fight. Using what you've learned in this course, what advice would you give Ali about addressing this situation with Bob?
