What additional resource need for successful implementation

Homework: Force Plan and Change Management Plan

Getting Started

The Solution as a Task Force Plan

The Task Force Plan is how your team was asked to propose a solution to establishing an effective, virtuous, and global task force to address critical issues in an organization. Your team has investigated the problem, acquired new knowledge, proposed a solution, and tested that solution. You are now ready to revise the Task Force Plan based on your scenario test results. The final Task Force Plan is your team's solution to the problem.

The Change Management Plan

Good problem-solvers know that finding the solution is not the end of the process; the solution must be implemented. Some solutions are easy to implement and others can be very challenging. All solutions, however, require a change. Good leaders know that managing change requires a strategy. Your team has reached a conclusion on the solution in the form of a Task Force Plan and now you must develop a brief change management plan to implement the solution.

Instructions for Deliverable

I. Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade. You can learn more about the specific skills being assessed by reviewing the links in Problem-Based Learning Resources(new tab).

II. As a team, revise your Task Force Plan according to the results of the scenario testing. The Task Force Plan must follow this structure:

• Professional Cover Page
• List of Contributors
• Table of Contents
• Executive Summary

o An executive summary is designed primarily to serve the person who, at least initially, does not intend to read the entire report. It usually states the main points of each section and emphasizes results, conclusions, and recommendations, usually in around three pages.

o Executive summaries are ideally suited to the needs of leaders who are seeking advice about a decision or a course of action. These summaries are called executive summaries because some decision-makers rely wholly upon their advisors to read and evaluate the rest of the report.

o For the purposes of this homework, the Executive Summary should be no more than two pages and should concentrate on the background of the problem, current state, and a summary of recommended solutions.

• Organized Sections of Proposed Solutions (for example, goals, objectives, action steps, protocols, resources, definition of terms, etc.)

• References in APA format (for scholarly or practitioner resources that are cited or used within the plan)

• Appendices (OPTIONAL - attached materials, tools, documents, samples, templates, etc. that are part of the solution)

III. As a team, create a brief Change Management Plan in PowerPoint to accompany your Task Force Plan. The Change Management Plan must address the following:

• What will be improved with this solution? How will the problem be solved?

• What is the process for using and communicating the Task Force Plan among the organization's task force members?

• What additional resources may be needed for successful implementation?

• How will implementation be monitored for resistance (a normal part of change)?

• How will successful virtuous leadership and team performance be celebrated?

• What is the process for reviewing, revising, and continuously improving the solution?

Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:

• The answer must be using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, typed, with one-inch margins on all sides.

• The response also includes a cover page containing the student's name, the title of the homework, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.

• Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
