I. Choose ONE of the required readings from this week's module. What about the story was familiar to you? What about the story was new or foreign?
II. How would you describe the moral of both "Shaira's Secret" and "The Wicked Stepmother"? Comment on the similarities and differences between the two in terms of the messages they express.
III. The two required readings for this week each feature an animal character and a supernatural being. Choose one (or more) of these characters and discuss their importance to the larger story.
