Business chosen:Girls Scouts of Western Washington.
Instructions: (Two-pages maximum, single-spaced, using APA style)
For this paper you will develop the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis for your project business.
Do NOT search on Google for a SWOT for your business. I need you to create your own SWOT based on your research.
The SWOT analysis is written in narrative form, with bullets for each of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Each bullet should not exceed two lines. You want to have three bullets for each category (SWOT).
Your paper should include a narrative explaining what a SWOT analysis is and how it applies to your business.
The SWOT analysis demonstrates a clear understanding of these specifics:
• STRENGTHS that your business or service brings to the market and that make you a formidable competitor. Strengths are internal to the business.
• WEAKNESSES that you know that you need to address, as your competition is aware of these (or may become aware) and will likely exploit these. (Weaknesses are internal to the business)
• OPPORTUNITIES that allow you to capitalize on your STRENGTHS. Where might you grow your business and revenues?
• THREATS in the macro environment. These include those aspects that you cannot control, but they are there-the economy, the competition, the political/legal environment. (Threats are external forces).
You might also consider the past history of the industry or business environment in which you plan to bring your product or service. Ensure that your SWOT is candid, factual, and nonfiction. You want to demonstrate your realistic assessment of that which you have going for you and not going for you.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
