Assignment Task:
Essay/ Project Proposal
Length: (400-500 words). We are always welcome to exceed this number, just don't come in under it. Value: 10% For this proposal, we will indicate to me what you are planning on writing your final research paper or project on. In roughly three to four paragraphs, outline what you are intending to focus on for your project or paper, the approach you intend on taking (argument), and why you are interested in researching that particular topic. You must also include at least three of the sources that you intend to use in your final research paper and outline briefly what aspects you are intending to use from each source (three-four sentences per source).
Remember that one of the keys to writing a successful research paper or crafting a project is to write and research a topic that you find interesting. I will consider these items when evaluating your proposals:
1) Do you clearly outline what you want to write about and why you are interested in this particular topic.
2) Mechanics (grammar, demonstrates proof-reading, spelling)
3) Requirements (you have met the requirements outlined above of the assignment i.e. Length, title page supplied, professional tone)
4) Supplied three sources and clearly indicated what aspects you are using from each source.
