We have many organizations with very strict policies regarding the use of personal devices in patient care areas. Many hospitals have a no "phone" policy in patient care areas, but the policy is often not enforced. On the other hand, there are facilities who provide smartphones for staff for in house communication. How does the patient know the difference? All they see is the nurse answering a cell phone.
