Essay on Politics and Film
Your assignment here is to write a 3-5 page paper analyzing political themes and ideas in the movie Game Change.
You should watch the film looking for ideas you will have read about (for example-the impact of the media, incumbency, party politics, public opinion.....) then write an essay explaining how you felt these ideas were portrayed in the film's story.
You are welcome to draw on outside writings but be sure and include them in a bibliography at the end of the essay.
The essay should be double spaced. Submit it electronically through the blackboard e-mail for this course.
Do not put the essay in an attachment, cut and paste it in the body of an e-mail. The last day you can submit the essay is July 27th.
You can submit it anytime you wish prior to that date, but you will want to do a fair amount of the reading for the course so that you can apply it in your essay.
