Discussion Post: Price Controls
Listen to NPR Planet Money's podcast "Does Raising the Minimum Wage Kill Jobs?" (3/6/14; 4:21m) or read the New York Times article "The Perverse Effects of Rent Regulation" (7/23/13). Does it support the theory (the model) learned in class about the effects of prices controls? Explain why or why not. Was there anything new you learned that the theory didn't predict or discuss?
