Discover your sonic world by spending 15 minutes exploring it. Make a note of all the sounds you hear around your home/work space and whether you consider them musical. Why? Take the same approach outside if it is comfortable for you. Are there any similarities or differences between what you consider musical and what you do not? Was there any noise that made you wonder? Are there any aspects of it that left you unsure? Upon further consideration, did any sounds change your mind? Why?
