Creating visual representations of “what is going on” is a powerful way to explore systems. Pictures allow us to see the “whole” while simultaneously seeing the detail. Therefore, patterns emerge and interconnections are clear. For this exercise we will create a diagram to represent how you visualize the systems of globalization.
Globalization is a complex adaptive system. It can only be understood fully as a system that is more than the sum of its parts. The complex interdependencies and connections lead to implications for all the parts of the system.
