A 40 x 50m detached high-rise office building of 60-storey high with 3-storey basement of 14m deep is to be built in a construction site of 90 x 100m in urban area. The building is of mainly reinforced concrete skeleton framed construction (including reinforce)

1) Individual Work
- Students are requested to submit their assignments individually for answering all the above questions as the assessment for this module.
2) Marking Scheme
Please use YOUR own words in preparing the report. Except for definitions, standards or quotations, marks would be deducted if the contents of the report are merely a reproduction of texts from textbooks, Journal or teaching material from Lecturers etc. Emphasis would be on the QUALITY of the report BUT not the quantity. Use sketches, photos and drawings to illustrate your opinions and reasons.
3) Plagiarism
– Students are advised that plagiarism will be regarded as academic dishonesty.
– Zero mark will be assigned to plagiarised work.
4) Format:
– Use A4 size paper, 1.5 line spacing, font 12 and 25mm margins for your report.
– Deluxe binding is not necessary.
