Violation of the first amendment

Assignment:

The principal of Nathan Bishop Middle School in Providence, Rhode Island, invited Rabbi Leslie Gutterman to deliver prayers at the public school graduation ceremony. The rabbi agreed to deliver a nonsectarian prayer at the ceremony. Weisman, the father of a student, sued to prohibit school officials from including prayer in the ceremony. He was unsuccessful, and the ceremony took place with the Weismans in attendance. Weisman then sued to permanently bar prayers at future ceremonies, including his daughter’s high school graduation. Does including a nonsectarian prayer in a public high school graduation ceremony constitute the establishment of a religion by government in violation of the First Amendment? [Lee v. Weisman, 505 U.S. 577, 112 S.Ct. 2649 (1992).]
