Vegetative Development - Differentiation
It is referred to as qualitative changes that lead to increased specialisation. For example, the formation of cells and tissues of root, shoot and leaf or changes that transform a vegetative bud to a flowering bud. In simple terms, the process by which cells become specialised is called differentiation.
