Question 1: What are the various incentives that investors have to hold TIPS (Treasury Inflated Protection Securities)?
Question 2: Why does the U.S. Treasury also have an incentive to issue these securities to help finance government deficits? Please explain both these in detail for me, I would like to start by having a more clear definition of what TIPS are?
