Various commands for get the help:
There are various commands which can serve as an introduction to MATLAB and allow you to get the help:
info will show contact information for the product
demo has demos of some options in the MATLAB
help will describe any command; help help will describe how the help works
helpbrowser opens a Help Window
lookfor searches throughout the help for a specific string (be alert that this can take a long time)
To exit from the MATLAB, either type quit at the prompt, or select File, then Exit MATLAB from the menu.
