You will examine the similarities, if any, between the Cold War and the current War on Terror. Finally, you will draw conclusions about the scope and practice of international relations based on your research by explaining the theoretical and practical foundations you have acquired.
First have an introduction in your paper where you introduce the topic to the reader and foreshadow the contents of the paper. Utilize subheadings in the paper as well for better clarity. Something like: Introduction. The Cold War Proxy War Theory and IR …etc….
Elements missing in the paper include the discussion of realism/idealism. Please be sure you add those in the paper, explain them and integrate them into the analysis. You need more discussion of the collapse of the Soviet Union as well.
