1. Select one individual who you believe is a good leader and describe the traits that you believe make him/her a great leader. Are the traits discussed in the chapter similar to those you listed? Explain your answer.
2. Using your current company, or one you have experienced working with, identify the organizational structure. Discuss the pros and cons of this type of structure and what effect(s) the structure has on communication and decision-making. Would you change the structure? Explain your answer.
3. Research the effect unions have had on today's workforce. Find an article and share a brief summary with the class. Show how the union has benefited employees with actions and/or laws.

4. There is a lot of information on increasing the minimum wage to $15.00 per hour. Pick a side pro (for) or con (against) increasing the minimum wage. Research and share information with the class so we can all be better informed on the side you selected. Think in terms of employees and business owners.
Note: Picking a side does not need to represent your view point. If you want to share your view point you can but it is not required.
5. Based upon the 'Starting a Business" assignment. You may choose to share with the class your business idea.
