Cross-National Gender Comparison

For this Week 3 Assignment you will explore the gender gap and gender inequality in another country, and then compare that country to the U.S.

For this assignment, visit the World Bank's website for Gender Equality Data and Statistics. Select one country from the dropdown menu that you think would be interesting to compare to the U.S. Describe at least six of the data measures for each country (the U.S. and your country of choice) and analyze what these statistics tell you about gender inequality in that society.

Using these statistics, compare each country to one another in terms of gender inequality by discussing the similarities and differences.

The Cross-National Gender Comparison Assignment:

Must be four to five double-spaced pages in length (not including title and references pages) and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.

Must include a separate title page with the following:

Title of paper

Student's name

Course name and number

Instructor's name

Date submitted

Must use at least one scholarly source in addition to the course text and the World Bank website.
