Write a clear, organized, and concise five-paragraph essay in which you choose one of the works of literature (Ancient Greece) we have studied and do the following:
1.) Explain the culture in which the work was written.
2.) Using textual examples, highlight the societal values depicted in the work. (For instance, what were heroes supposed to be like in that society and what examples can you give from the text to illustrate that.?)
3.) Compare/contrast the societal ideas in the text you discussed to modern societal values. (What values are the same? Why do you say so? What values are different? Why do you say so?)
