1. Using either T or J-K flip-flops, design a 4-bit counter with asynchronous clear (asserted low) and a rollover interrupt flag signal, and draw the schematic. On a separate piece of graph paper, plot the 4 outputs against a square wave input. Be sure to show the effect of the clear signal on your plot.
2. Using your design from problem 1, select the specific ICs you'll need to build your circuit and fill out the table below. You'll be using the 74HCxx logic family. For pricing information, I suggest you go to a supplier such as Digi-Key or Mouser and get the prices from their web site. Assume you're buying low quantities (< 10 pieces).
