Use information in the textbook, our class discussion, and your knowledge of the global environment of business to write a blog entry of 300 words that addresses the following question.
As part of doing business globally and operating across cultures, we often want to predict how others are going to behave. Our typical guide is culture, often defined at the national level (e.g. Hofstede's cultural dimensions). Using an example of a culture you are familiar with, or from examples in the textbook, assess how useful differences in national cultures are for doing business globally? What are some challenges these models face in the days of globalization and its predictions of cultural convergence?
