Stars are born from an explosion of a dying star, called star clusters. They are twins, yet not identical twins. In the H-R diagrams for some young star clusters, stars of both low and high luminosity can be located off the main sequence, whereas 90% of stars are on the main sequence. Can you offer an explanation for why some stars are Red Giant and others White Dwarfs? Use the H-R diagram to aid your explanation as a star evolves off the main sequence.
