1. Use the five core job dimensions described in the job characteristics model (JCM) to redesign a job that you think is particularly boring. Ideally, after your redesign, the boring job should become interesting.

2. Draw an organizational chart that describes the organizational structure of an organization that you are/were involved in. Comment on whether you believe the design of this particular structure results in high levels of organizational effectiveness (hint: you should define what effectiveness means to the organization that you are/were involved in).

3. Briefly describe the organizational culture of an organization that you are/were part of. Next, comment on how this particular organizational culture affects your behavior as a student and as a person. Give specific examples.

4. Use the Lewin’s 3-step change model to discuss

A change that you would like to make in an organization that you are/were part of.
