Use software to access the student survey data and carry

Does a student's gender tell us something about how likely he or she was to eat breakfast? Does gender tell us something about how likely a student was to carry a cell phone in 2003?

a. Use software to access the student survey data, and carry out a chi-square test for a relationship between gender and eating breakfast or not. Report the chi-square statistic and the P-value. Who was more likely to eat breakfast-males or females?

b. Next, test for a relationship between gender and carrying a cell phone or not. Report the chi-square statistic and the P-value. Who was more likely to carry a cell phone-males or females?

c. Based on your answers to parts (a) and (b), who was more likely to eat breakfast-students who did or did not carry a cell phone? Use software to report proportions eating breakfast for students who did and did not carry a cell phone. Next report the P-value, and state whether or not the relationship is significant.
