Design a spherical pressure vessel with a radius a = 0.5 m and internal pressure p = 10 MP a with variability Cp = 0.15 for a LPF reliability of 99.5%. Use one or more layers of M1500 laminate with laminate strength and moduli given in Table 1.5, assuming the COV for strength is 0.35. Note that M1500 is a continuous strand mat fabric, thus quasi-isotropic.
