Use of Spectinomycin in Pregnancy
Spectinomycin (Trobicin) can be used to treat pregnant women allergic to beta-lactam antibiotics, but is unreliable against pharyngeal gonococcal infection. Gentamicin (Garamycin, and others) is a possible alternative.
