Write about the use of hypothesis testing in the context of your life or business. Provide a real-world case example of how and when hypothesis tests are used. Identify the following:
1. Your null and alternative hypotheses (write these out and how you know if you have significant results and what they mean)
2. What type of test (Z, t, F, chi-squared,for example) is used to study or test your phenomenon and why this is the case.
3. What are the choices you have in your design. Think about alpha levels and the risks/rewards in setting them and what the real costs of making errors are in your design.
4. How do you reduce the likelihood of bias in your data? Think about sampling, setting up hypotheses, and other choices.
