Universities have evolved more slowly than most other types of organizations in a variety of areas (they are bureaucracies, after all…) What can organizational psychology and human factors contribute to revitalizing universities to better fit the rapid changing nature of work and the structural changes that are needed to serve the workforce of the future (remember, we are not talking about more investment, more classes, etc.- the question is about changing the nature of what we do, not more of the status quo).
