Understanding of the effects of after-school programs

Problem:

The study objective is to describe the research question: The relationship between access to after-school programs and high school graduation rates in the Bronx, according to staff. In this study, the goal is to find out how having access to all these programs helps students stay in school and complete high school. Access to after-school programs (independent variable) and high school graduation rates (dependent variable). The Hypothesis: Increased access to after school programs is positively connected with higher high school graduation rates in the Bronx "Best practices dictate that, once a program is thoughtfully selected and implemented, schools should also work with their CBO partners to select a rigorous evaluation process that accurately measures program effectiveness in addressing the previously identified student needs (Roche & Strobach, 2019)". School staff in the South Bronx see a connection between having access to after-school programs and the number of students who graduate from high school. "Participation in after-school programs has been associated with increased pride, self-worth, and social responsibility (Bergin et al., 1992); feelings of confidence regarding achievement of goals (Danish, 1996);and prosocial behavior, self-concept, cooperation, and self-efficacy (Pierce & Shields, 1998)." The connections aim to gain a better understanding of the effects of after-school programs on educational levels by gathering insights from educators and administrators. Need Assignment Help?
