Question 1. Using the website www.nmfs.noaa.gov, demonstrate how three of the conservation and management measures stated on p. 8 of your textbook (Fishing Grounds: Defining a New Era for American Fisheries Management), are represented in the National Marine Fisheries Service activities.
Question 2. Discuss why scientific experiments must be incorporated into wildlife management for it to be effective?
Question 3. Can local ecological knowledge (LEK) alone be used to guide wildlife management actions? Provide at least one example to support your viewpoint.
Question 4. Compare the economic contributions of each of the four types of fisheries. Be specific in analyzing contributions, indicating "pros" and "cons" of each category. Be sure and cite your sources for full credit!
