Assignment:
In this assignment, every students will select a different Canadian industry/ professional association to review and assess from an economic perspective. The industry and professional association selection process will be explained in detail during the class.
The purpose of this assignment will be to determine the involvement of the selected association in national economic issues. Students will identify the types of economic issues that the industry/professional association is involved with and determine the rationale for the position that these associations are taking. Your independent assessment of the organization's position on these matters should also be included. Any other economic implications resulting from the work of the industry group or professional association should also be identified (e.g. through provision of training services for government).

The association to be researched is to be selected in conjunction with the instructor and the report is due no later than November 28th.
