Suppose that there are seven prospective jurors, four men and three women who might be impaneled tosit on a jury in a criminal case. Two jurors are randomly selected from these seven to fill the tworemaining jury seats. Assume each prospective juror has an equal chance of being selected.

a) How many different sets of 2 jurors can be selected from the group of seven?

b) List the sample space using A, B, C, and D for the men and J, K, L for the women.

c) What is the probability that both of the impaneled jurors are women?

d) What is the probability that either A or J is selected for the jury?

e) What is the probability that one woman and one man are selected for the jury?

f) It is known that neither J nor K is selected, what is the probability that C is selected for the jury?
