Two parallel plates each of area 612 cm2 are separated by

Two parallel plates, each of area 6.12 cm2, are separated by 5.40 mm. The space among the plates is filled with air. A voltage of 4.75 V is applied among the plates.

1. Compute the magnitude of the electric field between the plates

2. Compute the amount of the electric charge stored on each plate.

3. Now distilled water is placed among the plates and the capacitor is charged up again to the same voltage as before. Compute the magnitude of charge stored on each plate in this case. (Use  = 82.0 for the dielectric constant of water.)
