Two of the most important values in our society are freedom and security. And, although both are highly valued, we are frequently asked to choose between the two. An expansion of freedom may affect our level of security - or an expansion of security may impact the freedoms we enjoy on a daily basis.
For this discussion assignment, you are given a choice: if you had to choose one value - either freedom or security - to protect, which would you choose and why?
Make sure you clearly choose either freedom or security (although it is tempting to choose both, or say that it is too difficult to choose, you MUST choose one over the other). Then make sure that you clearly explain why you've made this choice. You can use personal examples if they are relevant.
