Transdisciplinary model of evidence-based practices

Problem:

Respond thoroughly to the comment below and ask one question.

Out of the three Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) types listed in our reading I chose The Transdisciplinary Model of Evidence-Based Practices and The ACE Start Model of Knowledge Transformation for this discussion question. It creates a gap between research and practice, which needs to be addressed. Evidence-based practice and interventions are defined, and facilitating factors are described in detail and is followed by a clinical case example to provide further insight (Flaherty, 2020).   Evidence-based practices in medicine have evolved to prioritize three key elements: practitioner expertise, research evidence, and patient preferences (Hall & Rousell, 2017). The ace start model of knowledge and the transdisciplinary model of evidence-based practices share a lot of the same things.

The Ace Smart Model of Knowledge is a framework for systematically integrating research evidence into practice. It outlines five key stages: knowledge discovery, evidence summary, translation into practice recommendations, integration into practice, and evaluation. It bridges the gap between research findings and their practical application in healthcare settings, particularly in nursing. These procedures align closely with the scientific method, which comprises seven steps: developing a theory, posing a question, formulating a hypothesis, conducting an experiment, analyzing data, disseminating results, and repeating the process.

I believe the Ace Smart Model of Knowledge best fits in with my degree program.  I am looking at closing gaps between the client's pain and their mental health illness.  By healing the pain, they are going to have a better understanding of their mental illness and be able to do the right things for helping it say at the side instead of ruling over their life.
