Trace the transfer or movement of a data packet

Assignment Task:

Based on the various elements of Network Architecture, trace the transfer or movement of a data packet from the source to the destination. You must list all the devices (including switches and routers) that your packet will physically pass through. You do not need to list the protocols being used at each device.

Source:  You upload a file to UK Canvas from a laptop using Wi Fi at your home. Assume that you are using either a DSL or Cable ISP (your choice).

Network Core: Your home DSL or Cable ISP is connected to a Tier 2 ISP which is provided by Comcast (a separate vendor from your home DSL or Cable ISP). The University of Kentucky WAN also connects directly to the Comcast.

Destination: The destination of the file you uploaded is the UK Canvas Web Server which is located in the UK Server Farm (near Waldo Road) which is connected to the University of Kentucky  WAN using Routed Ethernet.
